What's with the hair? They'd guess it signals the coming of fairer weather. But since when has hair be of much help to fend off the cold? The reason, of course, is that short hair is nowadays fashionable, I look good in it because of, well, my good looks. It's also economical in the financial sense: I avoid paying a barber for a hairstyle that only lasts ten days before it is time to pay a visit again, that is, if you don't want to be low maintenance. Few aspects of your personality resonate as a mirror, a crystal-clear  reflection of your truest inner emotions (the way of feeling, your level of energy, how in the moment are you) than the way you look. And of all the potential candidates, hair is often an indicator not of just how you feel, but your psychological well-being. And when you go short, you have to keep up with it daily. It is easy to shine like a brand new toy everyday the price of a mid-range razorblade (the cheap ones irritate and/or cut the skin). For the price of a haircut you get a month's worth of good quality blades.
Also, it is a bold look. When you zero in on your skull, it somehow shows an unconventional style that is so radically appealing, specially if you're a tall handsome fool who works out regularly and doesn't sit down unless it is to eat, meditate or do sit-abs. You gotta be good looking to look good even when there's not a single hair on your head.
